Chinese Jews refer to Jews who live in China and are basically Sinicized. The history of Jews in China is both long and mysterious. Although the earliest documented records of Jews in China can be traced back to the 7th to 8th centuries AD, Jews may have come to China earlier than the Han Dynasty.
