Notes on tourist visa deposit

I want to inform you that not all applicants need to submit a guarantee when applying for a visa. The consulate will inform the applicant who needs to pay the deposit to submit the deposit on the same day or the next day. Therefore, all applicants are requested to fill in the mobile phone number, home phone number and fax number (if any) in the upper left corner of the visa form.

Applicants who need to pay the deposit need to deposit RMB 5,000 each with a cash deposit slip at Hongqiao Sub-branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and apply for a visa at the consulate with the first copy (receipt) of the cash deposit slip stamped by the bank. The cash deposit slip can be collected at the consulate gate in advance, and the date of deposit, Chinese name, mobile phone number, home phone number and fax number (if any) must be correctly stated on the cash deposit slip. Applicants who need to provide a guarantee must also submit the original letter of guarantee in English.

Instructions for refunding the deposit

Please show your passport and visa card when you enter Singapore. When you leave Singapore, officials at the Singapore border checkpoint will take back your visa card and stamp your passport with an exit stamp. If the visa card has not been recovered, please take the initiative to hand it over to the border inspector.

After returning to China, please fax the photo page of your passport and the copy of the page stamped with Singapore's entry and exit seal to our consulate. Fax must leave more than two contact numbers and the area code of the location. If the library has received the refund notice from the Singapore Immigration Bureau, it will arrange the refund within three working days and inform you to refund the deposit after the check is ready. If you have returned to China and our library has not received the confirmation letter from the Immigration Bureau, we will send a letter to contact the Immigration Bureau within three working days after receiving your fax. When the deposit is refunded, it will be refunded without interest.

Please pick up the check at the consulate at the appointed time, and then cash it at China Industrial and Commercial Bank Hongqiao Sub-branch. This check is valid for 7 days. If the applicant fails to cash the check within the validity period, the waiting time for re-issuing the check is 3 months.

The applicant can't go through the deposit refund formalities in person, but the applicant can entrust others to come to the consulate to go through the deposit refund formalities. The client must submit the power of attorney issued by the applicant himself, the trustee's ID card and a copy of the ID card, as well as the deposit receipt, the applicant's passport or the original ID card to go through the formalities at the consulate.

If the applicant does not go to Singapore within the validity period of the visa, I need to bring my passport, visa card, receipt and letter of explanation I wrote to the consulate, and then I can make an appointment to collect the guarantee money.

Applicants will receive a deposit and a visa fee receipt when they receive a visa. When applying for refund of the deposit, a deposit receipt must be submitted. Once the receipt is lost, the applicant must submit the report loss certificate or relevant notarial certificate of the Public Security Bureau to prove it.
