How many overseas Chinese are there in Brazil?

On June 26th, Brazilian President Termel signed the decree of "China Immigration Day" in the Presidential Palace, and designated August15th every year as "China Immigration Day".

Today, there are more than 300,000 Chinese and overseas Chinese living in Brazil, mainly concentrated in the largest city, S? o Paulo. The drafter of the bill, Congressman Pinateau of S? o Paulo State, told reporters that with the establishment of China Immigration Day, colorful celebrations will be held in the future to commemorate the contribution made by immigrants from China to Brazil's economic and social development and enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples.

At present, China and Pakistan are actively promoting the docking of the "Belt and Road" with Brazil's development strategy, creating a model of cooperation among emerging countries and pushing China and Pakistan towards the same destiny.

In addition to the "China Migration Day" in Brazil, in 2008, the seventh day after the Wenchuan earthquake in China (1May 6), the Peruvian government issued the supreme decree, declaring May 19 as the "National Day of Mourning" to mourn the victims of the Wenchuan earthquake in China. According to this decree, on the day of mourning, senior Peruvian officials paid tribute to the victims of the earthquake in China through the Embassy of China in Peru, and flags of all government agencies, military facilities, police organs and all Peruvian diplomatic agencies abroad flew at half mast.
