1. Watershed Features: Qiuzhuang Reservoir is located on the return river of Hebei canal system, with a controlled watershed area of 525,000 m2 and a total storage capacity of 204 million m3. The basins above the reservoir are located in the windward area at the southern foot of Yanshan Mountain, with abundant annual rainfall, with an average rainfall of 703 mm for many years. The annual average water surface evaporation is about 1000 mm, the annual average land evaporation is about 530 mm, and the annual average sediment discharge is 48,000 t.

2. Dam: The barrage of Qiuzhuang Reservoir is homogeneous earth dam, and the dam slope is dry masonry slope protection.

3. Spillway: The spillway is open on the bank and built on the relatively complete semi-weathered Sinian dolomite limestone on the left side of the dam, with a total length of 184m.

4. Water outlet hole: the water outlet hole is a drainage hole. The total length of the drainage tunnel is 1443.38+03m. The maximum discharge of the spillway tunnel is 311m3/s.

5. Hydropower station: No power station.

6. Reservoir inundation treatment: land acquisition elevation of Qiuzhuang Reservoir is 67.2m, inundated farmland 198 10 mu, resettlement elevation of 69.0m, and immigrant population12,670 people.

7. Irrigation water supply: The original designed irrigation area of Qiuzhuang Reservoir is 300,000 mu, and the effective irrigation area is 230,000 mu. Since the completion of the reservoir, the actual annual irrigation area is about 6.5438+0.48 million mu, and the average water supply of the reservoir for many years is 58 million cubic meters. The project of diverting Luanhe River into Tangshan needs Qiuzhuang Reservoir for regulation. The designed annual water supply is 300 million cubic meters, and the actual annual water supply is 48 million cubic meters.
