The full name of the SPP program is the Student Partnership Program, which was established by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and the Association of Community Colleges of Canada (ACCC). It is also known as the China-Canada Student Cooperation Program. The purpose of this project is to improve the success rate of students who want to apply for visas from some colleges and emerging universities in Canada. The special application channel has greatly reduced the threshold for application. It is reported that 34 colleges of the Canadian Association of Public Colleges (ACCC) have participated in the SPP program. First, the requirements for capital guarantee have been greatly reduced.

Through the SPP program, there is no longer a deposit history requirement of 12 months for students with an IELTS score of 5.5. Applicants only need to pay tuition for one semester and deposit at least 8,000 Canadian dollars in the bank designated by the Canadian Embassy as a one-year living guarantee. The relaxation of the guarantee requirements provides visa convenience for students who are currently considering studying abroad and have insufficient economic conditions to go to Canada for further study.

Second, the application materials are reduced.

The SPP program greatly simplifies the applicant's material preparation procedures.
