On June 28th, 2022, the People's Government of Anhui Province issued a notice that the relocation project of Fenghuangshan Reservoir in Guangde City was a key water conservancy project during the Tenth Five-Year Plan period. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the project construction and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the people within the scope of the project, according to the relevant provisions of the Regulations on Land Acquisition Compensation and Resettlement for Large and Medium-sized Water Conservancy and Hydropower Projects (the State Council Order No.679), it is hereby notified as follows: from the date of promulgation of this notice to February 3, 2025, new projects will be stopped in the occupied and flooded areas of Fenghuangshan Reservoir Project in Guangde City. The population migration control area (hereinafter referred to as the control area) involves Maolin Village, Wusha Village and Baidian Community in Shijie Town, Guangde City, Liu Fuqiao Village, Xiwu Village and Yangchong Village in Baidian Town, Chenhou Village, Dushu Community, Jinlong Village and Mocun Village in Tanyang Town, and 3 towns 10 administrative villages (communities). The amount of compensation has not yet been indicated.
