Mexico Travel Accommodation Recommendation:
Bian Xiao may not know much about Mexican accommodation. At present, I just tell you some experiences of the youth brigade where I lived.
HostelMundoJovenCatedral in Mexico City
The location is very good, next to the Constitution Square and the Duke of Mexico Church. The bed in the girls' dormitory is less than 65,438+00 euros per night, including breakfast. It tastes good. This time, the Youth Travel Service organized activities to watch "diving" and a bunch of one-day tours. There is a bar on the top floor with good environment and scenery, which is why it can be noisy at night.
Guanajuato LaksadDante
Completely blinded by the decoration of this youth hostel, it costs more than 20 euros a night, but it is a single room. The room is quite big, including breakfast, and it is quite delicious! The trick is that this hotel is halfway up the mountain. You can't see the steps if you go down, and you can't see the steps if you go up. Every time I go out and go home, I look sad, let alone drag my luggage.
Meskar Hotel Cancun
The location is good, the breakfast is terrible, and I live in a party.
Animals, the room is relatively simple, a bed 15 euros, youth travel activities, good facilities. However, I was ill in Cancun for three days and almost stayed in bed for three days. I don't have the strength to play around, and I don't have a good impression of Cancun. I ended my trip to Mexico reluctantly. I must come to Mexico again at least once!
Precautions for tourism in Mexico:
There are many places to pay attention to in Mexico, so pay attention to the following points when traveling. When you go to Mexico, you should also take some things with you. You can pay attention when you go.
Prepare before departure 1. Change money, change money! ! ! ! Try not to use credit cards (there will be a lot of handling fees)
At that time, our bank had only 1000 pesos left, so we only changed 1000 pesos (the exchange rate is about 1: 17).
The rest took more than 800 dollars in cash (more than 800 dollars was not enough at all, but later I took a lot in Mexico)
2. Sun protection! I prepared several bottles of sunscreen, and I ended up with one bottle every two days. I really used super sun! Cancun is indeed exposed to the sun (but it is colder in Mexico and Guanajuato)
3. Three swimsuits and beautiful clothes. A bathing suit is not enough at all. In Cancun, we basically soak in the pool every day. If the swimsuit is not dry, it will be very uncomfortable to wear, so bring more swimsuits.
Remember to bring I20 and passport.
Summarize the key points 1. Must bargain in Cancun! ! ! Whether buying things or renting a car, people here like to cheat tourists.
2. It is recommended to rent a car in Cancun (refer to the introduction above for details).
If time is tight, tulum must go (it's so beautiful! ! ! ), you can go to the pyramids or not (although it is also a must-see attraction, it is enough to look at the photos, and you must go if you have time)
Uber is very useful in Mexico. It's also very cheap. (If you take a taxi, the driver may cheat.)
5. If you go to Guanajuato and Cancun, it is not recommended that Mexico City go back and forth to Guanajuato (it takes six or seven hours for one way), but you can fly (Cancun-Guanajuato-Mexico City or Mexico City-Guanajuato-Cancun).
Bring enough cash (pesos or dollars)
Mexico is located in Central America, which is the country directly below the United States. It is the birthplace of Mayan civilization and has a very long history. Mexico and the United States have deep roots, and are now considered as developing countries. Let's share with you the detailed process and materials of Mexican visa.
Mexican visa processing procedures and conditions
1. Applicants who hold valid visa pages in any country such as the United States/Britain/Canada/Japan/Schengen can travel to Mexico without a visa. The duration of stay after entry is determined by Mexican customs upon entry. A valid visa in the United States can be of tourist/business/transit type. )
2. There is no restriction on the departure place/entry mode of Mexico, and it is not necessary to pass through the United States/Britain/Canada/Japan/Schengen.
3. This kind of visa needs to be paid in advance, and the visa fee will be provided to the applicant on the day of the appointment interview. Because the visa fee is submitted to the consulate by the applicant himself in cash.
The visa in Mexico is not complicated, but it requires an interview and the materials are strict. Today, I would like to share with you my many years of visa application experience. If there are any defects or deficiencies, please criticize and correct me. Of course, if you have any questions, you can always ask me.
The basic situation of Mexico Now, in order to promote development, the Mexican government has relaxed the relevant entry and exit policies.
From May 8, 20 16, foreigners with valid American visas, British visas, Canadian visas, Japanese visas, British or Schengen visas, and APEC business travel cards (ABTC) marked with Mexico for non-labor visits (tourism or non-profit business visas) can go directly to Mexico.
Just show your passport and valid visa when you enter the country. (Schengen countries are: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain,
Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic,
Sweden, Switzerland)
One: Territorial division
Before you apply for a visa, you need to know where you are going to apply. Applying for a Mexican visa in China is divided into four regions.
1 Beijing Territory: It is applicable to private passports of Beijing, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Xizang Autonomous Region, Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Tianjin, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Hebei, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Hunan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou and Yunnan.
Shanghai consular district: it is applicable to Mexican visa applicants with private passports in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui and Zhejiang provinces.
Guangzhou consular district: It is applicable to applicants from Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Yunnan Province who apply for Mexican visas for private passports.
Hong Kong: Applicable to Mexican visa applicants with private passports in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao Special Administrative Region.
In principle, the applicant must apply for the consular district according to the place of work. However, due to the large number of applicants in some consular areas, it is more troublesome to make an appointment, so there are more and more cross-collar operations now. Of course, if you prepare your own material application, it is still recommended to operate in the skill area.

Visiting relatives visa refers to the visa that the applicant applies for visiting relatives and friends in Mexico. The validity period is similar to the length of stay and tourist visa. The validity period is from one month to ten years, and the stay time is determined by the embassy. The application materials are the same as the tourist visa preparation materials, except that you need to prepare additional invitations or letters from relatives and friends. If you don't have these, you can issue a certificate to prove your kinship.
Three: material samples

Four. Application process
1. Bring the receipt (reservation confirmation letter generated by Mexitel) and all the above materials to the embassy according to the appointment time.
Hand in the materials at the reception window.
2. Collect biological information while submitting materials (take photos and enter electronic fingerprints).
3. Conduct a brief consular interview to confirm whether the conditions and visa requirements are consistent, so as to approve the visa.
4. If the interview result is successful, a bill indicating the visa amount (36 dollars according to the federal fee regulations) will be given, and the expected date and time of receiving the visa will also be indicated.
5. The applicant must pay in China Bank and return the bank payment receipt to the embassy, and put it into the special mailbox at the entrance guard of the embassy.
6. The applicant must come in person to get the visa at the appointed date and time, and bring a photo copy of the identity certificate.
Five: experience in applying for signing a contract.
First of all, let's talk about the reservation system of the Mexican embassy. I have to say this system is really tiring. I have contacted many friends before, not to mention making an appointment to send an email. Even the website may collapse at any time! If you go in, you will be kicked out. If you are lucky, it will be done in a day or two, and it is not too much to get stuck for a week.
So if you are in a hurry, it is recommended to find a travel company or visa agent to do it, and basically you can interview the next day.
Another thing that needs to be spit out is the efficiency of the embassy. In fact, the procedure of submitting materials and interviewing on the same day is very simple, that is, the existing staff will review the materials, and if there is no problem, they will take photos, collect fingerprints and finally interview. It takes about 40 minutes for everyone to complete the seemingly simple link, so everyone must be patient.
If the interview goes well, we will get a white payment slip, and then go to China Bank to fill out the form for payment. Because the visa fee for the entire embassy area in Sanlitun has to be paid at this point, it is very important to suggest that you must take the number first and wait in line after the interview, otherwise it will be gone after a long time. Don't think that it will be easy to pay the last fee, then you will suffer.
Finally, get a visa. Usually, the Mexican embassy asks you to get the visa in person. After the interview, the embassy will give you a temporary receipt as proof. Of course, if you accidentally lose it, you can take your ID card directly to get it.
Some friends may come from other places, so it is inconvenient to go back and forth. In this case, you can try to ask the visa officer for a power of attorney, that is, a certificate entrusted by a friend. This kind of certificate is a very legal requirement, but the embassy will not give it under normal circumstances, which is probably to test everyone's sincerity ~
But this has no effect on the visa result, so don't worry.
Mexico is rich in natural products and full of exotic flavor. You can experience different natural environment and humanistic feelings, and you will definitely have a good travel experience.
