Now, the Kalmalan people have all moved to East China, while the Atayal people have moved to Datong and South Australia. On the right is the only remaining Kamalan ethnic group in Yilan area, living in Dongshan River.

The life in Yilan is very simple, with farming and fishing as a profession. In addition to farming, it integrates reading and life.
