Current situation of immigration detention centers

The supervision center is the organ that supervises the detention center. According to the law, administrative detention is in the detention center and criminal detention is in the detention center. Administrative detention given by public security organs and judicial custody decided by people's courts according to law are generally held in detention centers. The detention center is a criminal suspect suspected of committing a criminal offence, and the court has not yet made a judicial judgment that the public security organ temporarily detains the criminal suspect.

Article 2 of the Prison Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) is that prisons are the organs of the state to execute punishments. According to the provisions of the Criminal Law and the Criminal Procedure Law, criminals sentenced to death with a two-year suspension of execution, life imprisonment or fixed-term imprisonment shall execute their sentences in prison.
