Inquiry method of American immigration process

Step 1: Contact the Immigration Customer Service Center (NCSC). You can contact NCSC at 1-800-375-5283. Before calling, please prepare your personal information, including receipt number, green card number (A #), application date, application case, date of birth, address and other related information, so that the Immigration Bureau can inform you immediately when inquiring. The Immigration Bureau also recommends that you record the following information: the name and ID card of the immigration officer who answered the phone, the time and date of the call, the reference number, etc. For use in the next step.

2. Step 2 Tracing: If there is still no news 30 days after the first step, you can make a step 2 inquiry, which immigration center to try according to your situation, and you can check your documents at your immigration processing center by email.

California service, California processing center

The center (CSC) checks the mailbox. The number of cases usually heard in :csc-ncsc-followup@dhs.gov and California is WAC.

Vermont service, Vermont processing center.

Center (VSC) checks email :vsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov. Usually, the case number in VSC is prefixed with EAC.

Nebraska service center

The Center (NSC) checks the email:, and usually the case number in NSC is prefixed with: forest.

Texas Service, a processing center in Texas.

The center (TSC) checks the e-mail :tsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov. Usually, the case number in TSC has the prefix: SRC.

If your case is transferred from the original trial center to the new trial center, you must contact the new trial center. In the mail inquiry, in addition to the information in the first step, you should also provide the name and ID of the immigration officer who answered the phone at the beginning, the call time and date, the reference number and other information. Step 3: Looking for people: If you have done the first two steps, but there is still no news in step 2 1 days, you can contact the Immigration Bureau by email to check the documents.
