As of 202 1, 65438+February, passport processing was resumed. However, due to the obvious rebound of the current overseas epidemic, China's "foreign defense imports" are facing a severe situation. The National Immigration Bureau pays close attention to the global epidemic trend, strictly restricts the cross-border movement of non-emergency and non-essential personnel, further strengthens publicity and guidance, strictly examines and approves the issuance of citizens' entry and exit documents, and temporarily refuses to issue ordinary passports and other entry and exit documents for non-emergency exit reasons.

Passport processing flow:

1, get and fill out the exit application form. Bring the relevant documents to the local police station or the exit-entry administration department of the Public Security Bureau for collection.

2. Submit the application form and get the receipt.

3. To pay at the toll station, the applicant must pay on the day of acceptance. If the payment is overdue, the date of receiving the certificate will be notified separately. Under normal circumstances, ordinary passports will be obtained in about 15 working days after successful application, and expedited passports will be obtained in about 5 working days.

When applying for an ordinary passport, a citizen shall submit authentic and valid materials to the exit-entry administration organ of the public security organ of the local people's government at or above the county level where the household registration is located.
