Sardinia's Cultural Festival

Sardinia has a unique Italian culture and is one of the oldest regions in Europe. The origin of Sard people in Sardinia is unknown. They were influenced by successive occupiers, and the strongest external influence came from Spain. As early as 2000 BC, it had contact with Iberian Peninsula. Sardinian, Genoese, Tuscan, Catalan and Arabic are spoken in different regions. Italian is the lingua franca. The local people are proud of their hospitality in the hot city. There are many folklore and handicrafts. Cities and towns hold festivals every year. Most of them are equestrian performances, exquisite embroidered costumes and song and dance performances accompanied by Launedas (a kind of three-reed pipe).
