Naturalization conditions:

According to article 188 of the Maltese Nationality Law:

Foreigners or stateless persons who have reached the legal age and are able to submit their applications in the prescribed manner can obtain a planning certificate to become Maltese citizens. The applicant shall meet the following conditions:

A The applicant has lived in Malta for 12 months before submitting the application.

B The applicant has lived in Malta for not less than 4 years 12 months within 6 years, that is, 6 years before submitting the application.

The applicant has a good command of English or Maltese.

D. the applicant has good moral quality.

E. the applicant will be a suitable Maltese resident.

Under special circumstances, applicants who have not lived for seven years can be counted in the total residence time mentioned in item (b). The applicant shall provide supporting materials.

Application process:

1. Prepare E-cards and naturalization application materials according to the documents required for Malta's application;

2. Arrive in Malta for a business test and submit an electronic card and naturalization application materials (in general, you can get an electronic card within one week);

3. After submitting the information, the Maltese Immigration Bureau conducted a background check and investigation on the applicant, which took almost four months;

4. Arrive in Malta for business test, complete investment, apply for 1 year E card and submit naturalization application;

5. In principle, after receiving the official reply, the donation investment will be completed within 25 days, and the house purchase and national debt will be completed within 4 months;

6. When applying for the 1 year E card, swear upon arrival in Malta and apply for a passport;

7. Finally, wait for the original citizenship card and passport.
