Where is Zhili?

Zhili is Baoding. In the Ming Dynasty, it was called North Zhili, in the second year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty, it was renamed Zhili, and in the eighth year of Kangxi, it was called Zhili Province. 1On June 20th, 928, decided by the National Government of the Republic of China, Zhili Province was renamed Hebei Province, and 20 counties in the old Jingzhao District were merged into Hebei Province. Beijing was renamed Beiping, and Beiping and Tianjin were placed in Hebei Province, with Beiping as the capital of Hebei Province.

After Yongzheng and Qianlong, Chengde City, Hebei Province, north of Zhangjiakou City, south of Xilamulun River in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, middle and upper reaches of Daling River in Liaoning Province, north of Xihe River, Naiman Banner and Kulun Banner in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region gradually set up counties and counties, which were placed under the jurisdiction of Zhili Province, and their jurisdiction gradually expanded.
