Where does Chengxi Village belong?

Chengxi Village is located at the foot of Dafeng Mountain in the west of Langya District, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province, with the upper reaches of Chengxi Reservoir to the east and the Langyashan Pumped Storage Power Station within the village, with a total area of ??14 square kilometers and 19 villagers under its jurisdiction. The group has 916 households with a total population of 3,233, including 72 Party members and about 1,500 agricultural laborers. This village is a large immigrant village, with 1,480 people in the village enjoying national immigration subsidies.

The village has good water conservancy facilities. In 2007, it invested 120,000 yuan to renovate two drought-resistant pumping power stations and two small second-type reservoirs, Zhawa and Longwa, which can ensure water for agricultural production. In April 2020, Chengxi Village was listed in the fifth Anhui Province Civilized Villages and Towns Directory.

Near Chengxi Village are tourist attractions such as Langya Mountain Scenic Area, Zuiweng Pavilion, Langya Temple, Chuzhou Grand Theater, Langya Mountain cliff carvings and stele inscriptions, mutton vermicelli, spicy claypot rice, Nushan Lake Specialties such as whitebait, Chuzhou red flowers, and "golden amber candied dates".
