Infrastructure of Burungi Township

Bulungi Township has excellent basic conditions. In order to improve the living conditions of farmers, the township has adopted the methods of mass voluntariness, collective support, unified planning, and unified construction, and has built a total of 141 high-standard well-off houses, making the brick-concrete and brick-wood structure housing in Bulungi Township account for 25% of the total rural households. As a result, the living conditions of the masses have been greatly improved. With the implementation of the ecological immigration relocation project, 3.12 million yuan was invested to build 31 sets of high-standard commercial and residential integrated well-off residential buildings. At the same time, Xiangshang launched the first phase of the market town reconstruction project. While completing the integrated commercial and residential reconstruction of street gates, it invested 400,000 yuan to build a market town square of more than 3,000 square meters, hardened sidewalks of more than 1,000 square meters, and planted more than 1,000 landscape trees. The tree has greatly improved the environment of the market town and enhanced the quality of the market town. We strived for the national drinking water safety improvement project and invested 580,000 yuan to implement the Burungi Village drinking water improvement project, benefiting more than 1,400 people in 380 households and using clean and safe drinking water. In view of the weak farmland water conservancy facilities, we actively sought to invest more than 2.5 million yuan to line more than 20 kilometers of water transmission channels in 4 villages, and to eliminate risks and strengthen 14 water storage ponds and dams. In terms of road reconstruction and construction, the basic paving of 21 kilometers of village roads was completed. At the same time, we strive to invest more than 600,000 yuan from the county to renovate 17 kilometers of Panshuang Highway, which has greatly improved the conditions for people to travel and the transportation and marketing of agricultural products. In the work of renovating the village's appearance, the village collective investment and the masses' contribution were adopted to harden 9 sidewalks in residential areas, harden tree ditches for 1,700 meters, renovate 2.2 kilometers of streets, and paint 15,200 square meters of walls. Jiu Shang Village invested more than 100,000 yuan to carry out high-standard renovation of two residential areas and built a street of landscape trees and a street of fruit trees with different styles, which became a model project for the reconstruction of residential areas in Bulungi Township. Each village has further improved village rules and regulations, established a sanitation and cleaning system, changed people's bad living habits, and greatly improved the rural living environment.

In 2014, Guazhou County identified the Bu-Shuang Highway construction project as one of the ten practical projects to benefit the people. In June, with a total investment of 7.65 million yuan, the construction of the 14-kilometer-long Bushuang Highway started. It was fully completed and put into use by the end of September, which greatly facilitated the people along the way.
