Are there any myths about people wearing green clothes?
1, indigenous people
Some people think that Chuanqing people, like Liao people in history, are primitive people who originated in Guizhou. This view is represented by some experts in ethnic studies in Guizhou, and some people with higher education in Chuanqing also hold this view.
Step 2 branch
Some scholars, such as Mr. Song Shuhua, a famous expert on ethnic identification, believe that Chuanqing people are a branch of the Han nationality and migrated from Jiangxi and Jiangsu provinces to Guizhou when Zhu Yuanzhang sent Fu Youde and Mu Ying to conquer Yunnan in the Ming Dynasty. After the war, the army withdrew its troops on the spot, and this part of the Han people (including soldiers and their families) stayed in the local area and intermarried with local aborigines. Over time, they became today's Chuanqing people.
The ancestral home of Chuanqing people in their village and nearby villages is Jiangxi, which proves that this statement has certain credibility. As for who is right or wrong in these two statements, it will take time and the research of relevant scholars to prove it.
3. Mixed groups
Some scholars believe that Chuanqing people were formed after the marriage and integration of Han immigrants and local aborigines (that is, ethnic minorities with a relatively high degree of sinicization) in the Ming Dynasty, which was between Han society and ethnic minority society. This is the view of some scholars in the Central University for Nationalities since the 20th century.
In some areas, "Chuanqing people" are also called "Li Minzi". They don't have their own proper names, and sometimes they are also called "Dajiaozi". The name "Qing Chuan" is mainly used to distinguish it from what the Han people call "Chuanlan", which first appeared in the literature records of the Qing Dynasty. Local ethnic minorities don't call it "wearing green", but add adjectives before the names of Han people, such as Bai Han, Bigfoot Han, Shoudan Han, Buckwheat Eating Han, Big Sleeved Han and Local Han.
Chuan Qing and other local ethnic minorities regard the Han people as "Chuanlan", while officials in previous dynasties regard Chuan Qing and other local ethnic minorities as "Yi", "Miao" and "Zhu Yi". "Qing Chuan is a single ethnic minority, not the Han nationality". The so-called ethnic minorities identify Chuanqing people as a part of the Han nationality, which is a translation error. In fact, it refers to this group of Han people.
Since the ancestors settled down, Chuanqing people have developed independently for nearly 600 years and basically formed a unique tribal cultural tradition. There are still some remains of people wearing green clothes. Chuanqing people also regard themselves as a special tribe. Although the government listed them as "unknown nationalities", as early as the 1980s, the identity of the first generation of residents was written as "green", "green man" or "people wearing green clothes", and the words "people wearing green clothes" were printed on the identity cards of the second generation of residents, so the national train tickets, air tickets and hotels were unimpeded.
