What are TOEFL, IELTS and GRE for? Why test them? What's the use?
TOEFL is an English proficiency test organized by educational testing service (ETS). Its full name is "English proficiency test for non-native English speakers" and its Chinese transliteration is "TOEFL".
There are three kinds of TOEFL, namely: PBT—-paper-based test 677 677, CBT—-computer test 300 300, ibt—-online test 120, and the new TOEFL score is 120. The TOEFL test is valid for two years, counting from the date of the test.
2. IELTS:
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is one of the famous international English standardized proficiency tests. The IELTS test was established in 1989 and is jointly managed by the British Council, the Cambridge University Examinations Board and the Australian Education International Development Agency (IDP).
3、GRE
GRE, the full name of Graduate Record Examination, is called American Graduate Entrance Examination in Chinese, which is applicable to all majors except law and business, and sponsored by educational testing service (ETS).
GRE is an examination result required by all kinds of graduate schools in universities all over the world (except management schools and law schools), and it is also the most important criterion for professors to award scholarships to applicants.
Studying abroad requires these exams, and the specific requirements are stipulated in the applying school.

9 points: excellent grades, able to use English freely, accurately, fluently and completely.
8 points: Very good, can use English freely, but occasionally there will be incoherent mistakes and inappropriateness, which may lead to misunderstanding in unfamiliar situations, and can grasp the complicated details of the debate quite well.

3 points: the level is extremely limited, and only general communication and understanding can be carried out under extremely familiar circumstances.
2 points: Only use English occasionally, unless you are familiar with it, expressing the most basic information with words and short sentences has great obstacles in speaking and writing.
1: I can't pass, maybe I can only speak a few words and can't communicate.
0: The candidate did not take the exam, so there is no information to evaluate.
