Triangle trade, the slave trade, began in15th century. European colonists sold African blacks to the United States as slaves, and a large number of African blacks came to the United States. Modern western colonial expansion began in Africa, and Portugal and Spain were the earliest colonial countries. Therefore, the first large number of blacks appeared in the United States because of triangle trade.
