Suijiang No. 1 Middle School is located in the middle of New County, Suijiang County, the northernmost part of Yunnan Province. It is the only ordinary senior high school in Suijiang County. In 1994, it was rated as a second-class first-class complete middle school in Yunnan Province. Since the entire school moved to Suijiang New County in July 2012 and all teachers and students have moved into the new building, the school has improved teaching and management from both hardware and software aspects, and has actively applied for the first-class and third-class complete middle schools in Yunnan Province.
