Later, he immigrated to Hong Kong and opened a Chinese medicine shop in Hong Kong, named "Yao Wenxiang Pharmacy". Danny Chan's grandmother is Li Xiuzhen and a native of Taishan, Guangdong. After marrying Yao Wenxiang, she has three daughters and a son, the youngest of whom is her mother Yao. Danny Chan's grandfather Yao Wenxiang died in A.D. 1960, when Danny Chan was a child. He is not very impressed with his grandfather, except that he is very strict and often teaches him a lesson. 1On October 25th, Danny Chan's grandmother Li Xiuzhen was heartbroken when she learned the news of Danny Chan's death.
