When attending an event held by the Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe that day, Mpofu said that after consultations between the two governments, the Zimbabwean government decided that starting from next month, Chinese nationals visiting Zimbabwe for a short period of time can apply for landing when they arrive in Zimbabwe. There is no need to apply for a visa in advance. Chinese people who want to go to Zimbabwe for long-term work, study, or immigration still need to apply for a visa in advance.
