4. Individuals who accept bribes less than 5,000 yuan, if the circumstances are serious, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than two years or criminal detention; If the circumstances are relatively minor, administrative sanctions shall be given at the discretion of the unit to which they belong or the competent authority at a higher level. Article 1 Whoever embezzles or accepts bribes in an amount of not less than 30,000 yuan but not more than 200,000 yuan shall be deemed as a "relatively large amount" as stipulated in the first paragraph of Article 383 of the Criminal Law, and shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years or criminal detention, and shall also be fined.
