The working time limit of international student visa is stipulated to be changed every Monday, and the working time is 40 hours every two weeks.
Starting from Monday, March 26th, 20 12, the government will amend the relevant provisions of the 1994 immigration law, so that international student visa holders who have the right to work will work 40 hours every two weeks instead of the previous 20 hours per week.
In addition, holders of the 574 visa category (master's and doctoral visas for research) can have unrestricted right to work if they have started studying for master's or doctoral degrees.
According to the regulations of the Immigration Bureau, the definition of two weeks means 65,438+04 days, and the new plan will be implemented on Monday. After the implementation of this regulation, visa applications after March 26th of 20 12 and visa applications that have not been finally approved before March 26th will take effect.
