My motherland,

The motherland that I deeply love.

You are the crowing rooster - awakening the silence of dawn,

You are the dragon soaring into the sky - dominating the times,

You are a majestic lion - the majestic wind that dances in China.

You are the origin of human wisdom - the spark that ignites civilization.

You have a sacred name,

That is China!

That is China, my motherland.

The motherland that I deeply love.
