Several problems of studying abroad for biology majors.

1. Your plan is very good. If you do well in the exam, you can certainly increase your chances of admission. However, biology majors in most schools do not require you to take subject exams. It's up to you whether to take the exam or not.

2. What you can do now: improve your GPA and get the highest possible G and T scores; If possible, go to the lab and volunteer, RA. Biology is good. Apply for a teaching assistant scholarship (which is what we call a scholarship). Generally, as long as you are admitted, you will definitely have it.

3. Fees include G and T examination fees (3,000) and distribution fees (it seems to be $25/school), application fees (600/ application) and visa fees (2,000).

4. It is not a big problem to fail in the first 11 subjects, and you will get extra points if you make great progress later. You can't just provide some transcripts. Some schools allow only the GPA of the last two years to be calculated (but all transcripts are still needed).

You can apply for a doctorate in biology directly. If you get a master's degree halfway, quitting will hurt RP, but you can guarantee a scholarship.

The real meaning of the half prize is: less than 20 hours of student work. Yes 10 hour, 12 hour, 15 hour, 18 hour. There is no uniform rule on how to pay your tuition. Basically, in your case, as long as you are admitted, you will definitely get full marks (unless you have a poor TOEFL).
