To realize the continuous rise of groundwater level in Minqin Basin, it is expected that there will be a shallow buried area with a total area of about 70 square kilometers and a groundwater depth of less than 3 meters in the northern lake area, forming a certain range of dry and wet land; The groundwater level in the middle reaches of Liuhe River system has risen, and the ecosystem has been effectively restored. In the irrigation area of Xida River system, the comprehensive management measures with strengthening water saving as the core were implemented, which realized the basic balance between supply and demand of water resources in Xida River system, raised the groundwater level in Jinchuan-Changning basin in the lower reaches of Xida River system and improved the ecosystem.
