How to arrange farmers' production and life after land acquisition?

(1) The government organized the ex situ development of land to resettle farmers. Generally, if there are no resettlement conditions in areas where a large amount of land is expropriated and concentrated, the government will organize centralized land development, establish resettlement sites, and uniformly resettle the production and life of farmers in land-expropriated units. Generally, hydropower stations, reservoirs and large state-owned enterprises use this method for land acquisition.

(2) Adjust contracted cultivated land and forest land, and resettle them within rural collective economic organizations. If the land area is small and the per capita cultivated land has not changed much after land acquisition, the contracted land can be adjusted and agricultural personnel can be placed with the consent of more than two thirds of the land contractors.

(3) Develop diversified business arrangements. After land expropriation, in places with rich collective reserve land resources, certain land compensation fees and resettlement subsidies can be invested to develop land resources, develop sideline industries such as forestry and fruit industry, fishery and aquaculture, increase farmers' income and resettle farmers' living and production.

(4) Establish resettlement sites for township enterprises. Some places where conditions permit can use land compensation fees and resettlement subsidies, and farmers' collective economic organizations can set up enterprises to resettle landless farmers and solve their production and living problems.

(5) Self-employment. For some farmers with special skills, resettlement subsidies can be given, and certain investments can be made to enable them to find jobs or start their own businesses.

(6) Enterprise recruitment and placement.

(7) Establish social insurance. Social insurance can be used to solve some people who have lost their ability to work, or those who are temporarily difficult to resettle.

The resettlement method is mainly determined by the local people's government according to the actual situation, with the principle of ensuring the proper resettlement of farmers' production and life.

(8) Resettlement of reserved land.
