The People's Public Security University of China, referred to as the Public Security University, is located in Beijing. The People's Public Security University of China, founded in July 1948, is a training course for security cadres in North China held by the Central Committee in Jianping County (now Pingshan County) in Hebei Liberated Area. After that, it experienced the development stages of North China Public Security Cadre School, Central Public Security Cadre School, Central People's Public Security College, Central Political and Legal Cadre School and Central People's Public Security College.
