Do China people use more Chinese phonetic names or English names abroad?

If you choose to join a foreign nationality, you can choose to change your name when you take the citizenship exam. You can add an English name before the Chinese name, or you can directly choose an English name plus a Chinese name (the general surname will not change! ), of course, you can choose to continue to use Chinese names (Pinyin).
