1 > notarization of each applicant's birth certificate (if any).
2 > A copy of each applicant's resident identity card.
3 > copy of marriage certificate.
4 > notarization of the recent criminal record certificate of each applicant's public security bureau.
(5) A notarized appraisal of the applicant's personal or family assets (including bank deposits, property certificates and securities), with an asset value of not less than USD 350,000.
6 > Original and complete copies of each applicant's passport (each page should be copied).
7 > 6 passport photos for each applicant.
Precautions for submitting Costa Rican immigration application materials: All notarized documents should be translated into Spanish.
