Why does the dollar say "Americans believe in God?"

Every dollar bill is printed with 1 English sentence: In God's place, we trust, which means "God is with us".

This is related to historical traditions. Believing in God is not necessarily lucky. People's fate is most influenced by themselves. Being proactive and kind to others is the best attitude towards life.

Historically, the United States is a country formed by immigrants with Christian beliefs as the main body. In the era when the dollar began to be used, the United States was a presidential system, and many countries in the world were still in the era of imperial power or kingship. Therefore, in God, the printing of our trusted and well-known presidents only represents the characteristics of the American political system.
