Waxieba was originally an ancient ferry by Poyang Lake, which was the distribution center of Jiang Youmin immigrants in Anhui and Hubei provinces in the early Ming Dynasty. Government officers and soldiers will gather the arranged immigrants at Waxieba, and then board the ship and send them to Anqing and other places. Because of the age, with the decline of legends, the descendants of immigrants gradually forgot the specific ancestral home and fixed their memory concept on the "Waba", as if "Waba" had become their original home and the home of a homesickness complex, just as East China and other provinces only remembered the "big locust tree". In fact, the origin of Waxieba immigrants is distributed in Raozhou (Poyang) and Jiujiang counties in Jiangxi Province.
