Brief introduction of Dianjiao village in Tibet
Dianjiao Village, Zhaxigang Township, Gaer County, Ali Prefecture, Tibet, located on the border between China and India, is not only an important node for guarding Ali's entry and exit into Kashmir, but also a traditional pasture for several generations of Indian herders. Such border villages are of great significance for maintaining the territorial integrity of China;
The villagers in Dianjiao Village, which is only 600 meters away from the Indian bunker, insist on "border grazing", which is tantamount to claiming that the area where the villagers moved is the inherent territory of China.

As can be seen from the map, the strategic position of Dianjiao Village is extremely important, and it is the intersection of Himalayas, Gangdise Mountain and Karakorum Mountain. Shiquan River is a classic village in Liu Jiao. It flows about 80 kilometers to the northwest, then turns around, crosses Ladakh Mountain and enters Kashmir, which is later called the Indus River. This valley is an important passage from the Ali region of Tibet to Kashmir.

Barrigas Village is 600 meters straight from Dianjiao Village, which was built after Indians illegally occupied our territory.
In the border area between China and India, Dianjiao Village and barrigas are probably the two nearest villages. In the area of Dianjiao Village, there is 1950 square kilometers of land, which is located on the Chinese side of the traditional custom line. It is a part of Gaer County, Ali Prefecture, Tibet, China, and has always belonged to our territory. However, 450 square kilometers are still illegally occupied by India, and the China government has always denied the existence of territorial disputes in this area.
On the east side of Dianjiao Village, 30 kilometers away is the lifeline of China Tibet-Xinjiang traffic: National Highway 2 19.
There is a red mountain near Shiquan River in Dianjiao Village, and there is an ancient castle on the mountain-Gela Castle. The existence of this castle is the historical evidence that the surrounding area of Dianjiao Village belongs to the inherent territory of China.
Historically, after the collapse of the Tubo Dynasty, Gidnemanan, the last descendant of Zaplanchum, fled to the Ali Plateau in A.D. 1930, and built this Gela Castle on the Shiquan River to avoid capture. The three sons of Jinimajun later established Guge Dynasty, Ladakh Dynasty and Yaze Dynasty respectively.
Around Dianjiao Valley is the alpine summer pasture where Dianjiao villagers graze for generations.
Dianjiao Canal is a tributary of Shiquan River, and Dianjiao Village is located at the intersection of two rivers. Dianjiaogou, where Dianjiaoqu Canal is located, has a large area of high-quality alpine summer pasture with an altitude of more than 5,000 meters, and it is also a summer pasture where villagers of Dianjiaoqu Canal graze for generations. According to herders, the grasslands here don't seem to be as lush as those at low altitudes. Grass grows low, but it is rich in nutrition. One day's food for cattle and sheep is equivalent to three days' food for low-altitude pastures. Moreover, it is precisely because of the deep grass roots, short leaves and strong stalks that cattle and sheep can't finish eating and can withstand constant layered feeding.
Professor Xie Guiping from the Collaborative Innovation Center of China Western Frontier Security and Development of Sichuan University has been engaged in the research on the western frontier of China. He believes: "The border people are not only the builders of the border, but also the defenders of the border. While building their homes, they are also defending China. The natural environment of border villages is harsh, the production base of agriculture and animal husbandry is poor, and the population loss is serious. Only by vigorously strengthening infrastructure construction, optimizing the living environment and production and living environment, vigorously developing characteristic industries, improving people's livelihood, and letting the residents of these border villages live and work in peace and contentment can we mobilize their enthusiasm for defending the country and consolidating border defense. "

Some villagers told me that the Indian card pad he bought in this market has been used for more than ten years.
The design is smart and exquisite, and the workmanship is exquisite. Such a card pad was sold for two or three thousand yuan at that time, but now it can't be bought for ten thousand yuan.
There used to be a border trade market in Dianjiao Village, which was closed in 2008.
