Is your British visa affected by the new policy?

The card application center starts a digital process for a specific visa application category, scans the supporting materials and sends them to the UK Visa and Immigration Service. This new procedure will allow some applicants to keep their supporting documents during the visa processing. This process was formally implemented from the end of March 20 17. Visa categories applicable to the new process

First-tier, second-tier and fifth-tier visas for ordinary and expedited services, ordinary fourth-tier visas and ordinary residence visas. All tier-4 visas using American Express and 24-hour super priority service continue to submit written applications.

Matters needing attention

In order to facilitate scanning and avoid prolonging the waiting time at the visa application center, we strongly recommend that you follow the following instructions:

All documents submitted shall be A4 size.

Please copy all non-A4 size documents on A4 size paper. This also includes the old passport page you submitted.

Damaged or folded documents cannot be scanned. Please use A4 size paper to copy such materials.

Documents should not be bound with staples or paper clips.

Documents can't be stamped.

If more than one person * * * enjoys the same document, such as a family applying at the same time, please provide a complete set of copies for each applicant.

Use barcode sorting paper to sort different types of documents. For example, capital documents and English language certificates. It is the applicant's responsibility to use barcode sorting paper with operating instructions to sort documents.

The above is the new change of our UK visa, which was officially implemented from 2065438+March 2007. We need to pay attention to the following changes:

First of all, it should be noted that our visa issuance decision is no longer decided by embassies outside the UK, but needs to be reviewed by the four-level visa department of the Home Office in Sheffield, UK. So this is why many students will receive such an email in the visa application mailbox a few days after the visa is submitted. VISAINFO.SHEFO@fco.gov.uk is in the outbox. It says that your online application has been received in Sheffield, England. Your application is currently being considered by the immigration officer. Therefore, when we submit all visa materials to the visa center, we will hand over the original documents (except the original passport and the first page of the visa application form) to the corresponding staff and return them to us. So, this is normal, please don't panic.

Secondly, we also need to note that all expedited visas, including ordinary five-working day expedited service and 24-hour super expedited service, are consistent with our previous requirements for submitting visa services, and the originals, photocopies and translations of all materials need to be submitted normally.

Finally, everyone will definitely have a key question, that is, will my visa issuance time be affected after the new visa policy changes? For this problem, the author also carefully checked the latest explanation of the British Home Office official website, which is still the same as before, that is, it takes 15 working days for non-residents to apply for standard services; It takes 12 weeks to apply for standard settlement services; It takes 3-5 working days for the British express delivery service (that is, general express delivery); 24-hour super priority service takes 24 hours (1 working day).
