In the second year of Wu Taiping in the Three Kingdoms (257), Linchuan County was established, and the county was located in Linru County. Jin Dynasty and Southern Dynasty were in the same period. In the ninth year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (589), the county was abandoned and Fuzhou was set in the name of appeasement, hence the name.
The Tang Dynasty belonged to Jiangnan West Road. The Song Dynasty was divided into Fuzhou and Jianchang armies, which belonged to Jiangnan West Road. In the Yuan Dynasty, Fuzhou Road and Jianchang Road were changed, and Nanfeng House was relocated, all belonging to Jiangxi Province. In the 23rd year of Zheng Zheng (1363), Fuzhou Road was changed to Linchuan House, and it was later renamed as Fuzhou House.
At the beginning of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, there were Fuzhou Prefecture and Jianchang Prefecture, and Nanfeng Jiangzhou was the county, which belonged to Jianchang Prefecture, all of which belonged to Hu Si East Road, the political envoy of Jiangxi Province. In the Qing Dynasty, it was still called Fuzhou Prefecture and Jianchang Prefecture, and it belonged to Funan Road.
In the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), the province was divided into four roads, with a total of 8 1 county. The original counties in Fuzhou and Jianchang belong to Yuzhang Road. In the year of 15 (19 16), the roads were abandoned and the counties were in the government of Zhili province. Fuzhou district was established 1949, and the office of administrative inspector is located in Linchuan city (now Linchuan district of Fuzhou city). 1950, Fuzhou was divided into Fuzhou District. 1952, renamed Fuzhou area. 1967, renamed Fuzhou area. 1968, renamed Fuzhou area. 197 1, changed to Fuzhou again.
June, 5438+October, 2000 10, Fuzhou area was abolished, and prefecture-level Fuzhou city was established, and the original county-level Linchuan city was changed to Linchuan District of Fuzhou City.
