1. GDP ranking is high. In the GDP ranking in the first half of 2018, Shouguang GDP ranking was higher than Kenli District GDP ranking.

2. The industry has developed well. Shouguang City has developed six pillar industries including salt and salt chemical industry, light industry, machinery industry, textile industry, vegetable processing industry and agrochemical industry. Shouguang is rich in mineral resources underground, including petroleum, coal and brine. The industrial development of Kenli District is still divided into primary industry, secondary industry and tertiary industry. There is no innovation in industrial development in Kenli District.
