The Red Lantern

The word "East" in Oracle Bone Inscriptions may be a description of the original lantern image. "Southern History" recorded the phrase "hanging Ge lanterns on the wall". Pueraria lobata is a coarse white cloth made of hemp, and lanterns made of it may be the original prototype of yarn lanterns.
