Judging from the title of the poem, Farewell to Lu Ban Shang Shu Lingwu is a farewell poem. The friend whom the poet Wei Chan wants to bid farewell to is Lu Ban. Lu Ban was once the foreign minister of the proofreading department of Shangshu, so Wei Chan called Lu Ban Shangshu. "Lingwu", Lingwu here refers to Lingwu County, namely Lingzhou. Lingzhou was once called Lingwu County in Sui and Tang Dynasties, so it is called Lingwu in the poem, which is not the same as Lingwu County in Han Dynasty north of the Yellow River, nor does it refer to Lingwu today. Lingwu today is Lingzhou after the Three Movements of the Ming Dynasty, and it was not until the second year of the Republic of China 19 13 that it was changed to Lingwu County. "When you go" means that you go to Lingwu to Lingzhou. What are you doing there? Being our Lingwu emissary is our Shuofang emissary. At the beginning of the poem: "The orchard under Helan Mountain is completed, and the northern part of the Saibei River is famous throughout the ages." Lingwu is Lingzhou. What is this? This is an orchard city at the foot of Helan Mountain, south of Saibei River, and enjoys a long reputation. Because, as early as the summer Helian Bobo period, Lingzhou area was the Orchard City of Helian Bobo. As early as the Northern Zhou Dynasty recorded by Lang Mao in Sui Dynasty more than 1,400 years ago, Lingzhou was already known as the "South of the Jiangbei River". The sentence "Every family in Shui Mu is dark" further explains why Lingzhou is an orchard city. "Bow knife, iron clothes thousand teams." Lingzhou is described as the military center of Saibei. The next verse praises Lu Panshi, an outstanding strategist and general of Lingzhou Town with cultural relics. Lu Pan once served as our ambassador to Chaolang, Jianchuan and other towns, as a proofreader, as a foreign minister in the Ministry of Rites, as an imperial adviser, leading the country and giving flying fish bags. After the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the south of the Saibei River was further expanded, and Yinchuan City, Shizuishan City, zhongwei City, Lingzhou (now Wuzhong) north and Lingzhou (now Wuzhong) south further built channels to develop irrigation from the Yellow River. "Jiangnan" refers to the Yellow River irrigation area in northern Ningxia, not Ningxia.
