Who was the earliest American colonist?

Nordic people (including vikings) from Scandinavia first came to America and established the earliest colony, Wenlan, 500 years before Columbus discovered America, but these vikings later gave up their colonies in America.

2. Spain was the first European power to conquer the native American culture. It occupies a wide range in America, including most of Latin America.

Then Portugal occupied Brazil. The Netherlands, Britain and France also occupied parts of North America and some islands in the Caribbean.
