The process of applying for an electronic visa in Thailand

There are 7 steps to apply for an electronic visa in Thailand online.

Step 1: Check whether the applicant needs a visa.

Log on to the website of * * *, click on the visa category, enter the tourist visa page, select the applicant's nationality and stay time in Thailand, and click View, which will show whether a visa is needed.

Step 2: Register and activate the account.

After you confirm that you need a visa, click the register button, fill in the email address and password, and create an account.

Fill in the personal information, then click the Create button, and the activation link will be sent to the applicant's email address. Check the email address and activate the account to complete the registration.

Step 3: Log in to your personal account.

Click the login button to enter the personal management visa application interface, where you can update your personal information to apply for a visa, complete the pending application and track the visa application status.

Step 4: Fill in the information and make an appointment.

* * * There are five steps. Click Apply for Visa to apply, and you will be directed to step 1:

1) Check whether the applicant is qualified to apply for a visa.

2) Choose the purpose of your visit. After selection, the visa type that meets the purpose of your visit will be automatically generated.

3) To fill in personal information and travel details, you only need to fill in a few basic information, such as name, address, e-mail, date of birth, passport information and travel date, and you also need to answer some security-related questions.

4) Please read all the data, including the terms and conditions. If you agree, please print and sign.

5) Please attach all necessary documents and sign the statement according to the instructions on the page.

Step 5: Electronic payment

Enter the electronic payment page and pay the visa fee through the electronic payment system. You can use the QR code of Alipay, WeChat Pay and UnionPay China UnionPay Express to pay.

Step 6: Label the embassy or consulate at the appointed time.

Receive the reservation information, print it out and submit the passport to the embassy or consulate according to the date and time of the reservation according to the instructions in the document, so that the staff can examine and approve it and paste the visa sticker on the passport.

PS: Please arrive at the embassy on time, otherwise the embassy officials have the right to refuse to accept the application.

Step 7: Verify the visa status.

Log in to your account to check your visa status. Once you get the decision of the visa application result, you will receive an email notification.
