It usually takes 8~ 12 weeks to get a maple leaf card. The applicant must go to the designated place with the notice in person, and no one else may collect it. Cardholders can apply for a new maple leaf card at most 9 months before the expiration of the Canadian maple leaf card. After the card is made, the Immigration Department will keep it for 180 days. Canadian Maple Leaf Card Update Requirements
