What is the American spirit respected by western society? What's the difference between China and traditional culture? What is the American Dream?

As an Asian American, I can tell you responsibly that, in fact, most of the core contents of American traditional spirit, except the realization of personal wishes and personal values, are actually quite similar to China's traditional culture. Honesty, courage, honor and diligence are the qualities that any country and nation will pursue. It's different, just in different forms. (But for some reason, neither side wants to admit it. )

As for the American dream, there is much to say. Moreover, for native Americans, that is, Americans born in the United States, their American dream is different from those new immigrants who "mix in the United States, get a green card and become naturalized."

Simply put, it is the dream of opportunity, equality (in fact, sometimes inequality), pride and success.
