Immigrants in the late Soviet Union

From a global perspective, population is the foundation of a country's development. As the largest country in the world, Russia is also facing such problems. Russia has a vast territory and rich resources. In the past, it did not attract foreign people to immigrate. Every year, a large number of its own people immigrate.

Russia's fertility policy continues to encourage continued fertility, and even many preferential and supportive governments have been established to encourage fertility, but the fertility rate is still not as good as population migration. This reason is actually very simple and closely related to Russia's economy and development.

As a person, what we pursue is the improvement of living standards, which is the better development of ourselves and our families. This is the law since ancient times. Therefore, in order to retain the population and attract more immigrants, the country's economic development level must be getting better and better, but after the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Russians are faced with the word "poverty".

After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the policies adopted by the government basically destroyed half of the economy, prices soared and inflation made it difficult for ordinary people to maintain food and clothing, and the rich gradually reduced their expenses. What's more, under the continuous sanctions of the West, although Russia's international status has improved, poverty has become synonymous with Russians.

Therefore, it is very realistic for Russia that a large number of people immigrate to developed Europe, North America and Asia every year in order to pursue a better life. Therefore, if Russia does not develop its economy and improve people's living standards, its population will only decrease.
