American study visa application process:

Step 1: fill in the electronic application form for non-immigrant visa DS- 160.

Be sure to note that if it is a renewal or an interview is not required, please select' Guangzhou' when filling out the form. But if it is a face-to-face interview, you should choose the place where you want to go for the face-to-face interview. Don't be confused! Please select Simplified Chinese in the upper right corner. Step 2: Enter the online application system and establish personal files.

First, register on cgi's website.

Please note: Please use email addresses such as hotmail, gmail, 126 to create the user name, which is difficult to pass.

Then fill in the visa information, so you can enter the payment page and get a cgi code. With this code, you can pay the fee and give the interview time in advance.

Step 3: Pay the fee.

After filling in the visa information, enter the payment page and the system will give you a cgi code. Then you can pay the fee.

If you don't open CITIC Online Banking, you should pay at the counter or ATM. Pay attention to bring your passport number and cgi code. After the payment is successful, you will receive a receipt with a number to track the progress of document processing.

It is said that the use of non-CITIC bank cards requires handling fees, while CITIC cards not only have no handling fees, but also have a high success rate of online payment, so most people choose to pay with CITIC cards. You have to go home and log on to the original website again to get back to the payment page.

Step 4: After paying the fee, make an appointment for the next interview. There are optional times on it. Just click on it at your convenience, and then print the appointment confirmation letter. Please bring it with you during the interview!
