What does Sheyang people mean?

Now the main residents of Sheyang are composed of these two types of people.

The first category is the reclamation immigrants brought by Zhang Jian in Qihai, who settled and multiplied in Sheyang and gradually formed market towns.

The second category is the aborigines in Yanfu area. The prosperity of market towns has attracted a large number of aborigines from the surrounding Yanfu area to join and form large towns. Due to the geographical proximity between Yanfu area and Sheyang, it is easy to migrate, and some Qihai people are assimilated because of their intermarriage with Yanfu people, resulting in that Sheyang area, which was originally dominated by Qihai people, has gradually become a Yanfu cultural area dominated by Yanfu people.
