Jiayuguan Great Wall was built in A.D. 1372, the fifth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty. It is the first Great Wall in Wan Li in China history. According to local conditions, different construction methods are adopted according to different geographical forms, such as rammed loess Great Wall, masonry Great Wall, sand-filled willow Great Wall, enclosure Great Wall and trench Great Wall. From the early combination of castles and city walls, it has gradually developed into a complex structure with multiple functions such as customs, castles, city walls, terraces and flintstones.

Such an earth wall was built in the desert. At that time, there was no transportation. Where did this earth come from? Moreover, it is so powerful. Thousands of years have passed, and the city walls are still so complete and strong. It is said that people later studied the soil used to build the city wall, copied it according to the research, and touched the periphery of the Great Wall, but it soon fell off. What is particularly surprising is that after nearly a thousand years, not even a grass has grown! What a strange thing it is! And the construction of the city wall is really amazing, a way of fighting, an urn! When I saw the urn, I really understood the meaning of catching turtles in a jar at once! ) Such a project, the enemy really came back!
