Resettlement compensation policy

Legal analysis: the state has a standard for resettlement subsidies in the reservoir area, and the money for resettlement subsidies in the reservoir area is allocated by the state. Immigrants included in the scope of support will be subsidized to 600 yuan every year for a period of 20 years. Immigrants who moved after July 1 2006 and were included in the scope of support will receive support for 20 years from the date of completion of relocation. People over the age of 60 receive a one-time compensation of 20 years. Those under 60 receive 600 yuan every year until they receive it for 20 years.

Legal basis: Article 29 of the Water Resources Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the state implements a development immigration policy for immigrants in water conservancy projects, and properly arranges the production and life of immigrants according to the principle of combining early compensation, subsidies and late support to protect their legitimate rights and interests. Resettlement should be carried out simultaneously with project construction. The construction unit shall, according to the environmental capacity of the resettlement area and the principle of sustainable development, formulate the resettlement plan according to local conditions, and after being approved according to law, the relevant local people's government shall organize the implementation. The required resettlement funds are included in the project construction investment plan.
