Before going abroad to enter a foreign port, the service girl of an international flight will generally send each passenger an entry declaration form. Passengers should truthfully declare, including foreign exchange and traveler's checks carried with them. Western countries generally do not restrict the entry of foreign exchange, but they must declare it truthfully. For gifts brought into the country beyond a certain limit, for example, in the United States, if the value of the gift exceeds 50 dollars, the customs will deduct the tax.

2. Articles generally prohibited from entering the country

Customs around the world generally prohibit opium, heroin, marijuana and other addictive and hallucinogenic items and their raw materials from entering the country; Most countries, especially the participating countries of the World Wildlife Organization, have different degrees of restrictions on animal products, such as ivory products and fur products. The United States, Britain, Japan and other western countries prohibit passengers from bringing fresh fruits, vegetables or unprocessed meat into the country. Arab and Islamic countries in West Asia have strict import restrictions on books, periodicals and other printed and audio-visual products that violate Islam. The State of Israel has strict restrictions on articles, printed materials and other articles that are anti-Semitic and harm the feelings of the Jewish nation.

3. Forbidden articles in Singapore

Before entering the entry customs area, all immigrants need to fill out an entry card with personal data on it, and also need to fill out a declaration form, which is mainly used as special items carried in the declaration. Passports, visas and return air tickets need to be ready for inspection when entering the customs.

It is generally forbidden to bring all kinds of fresh goods into Singapore, especially meat. Others such as fresh fruits and vegetables, plants, seeds, animals, honey, moon cakes, salted duck eggs and zongzi are all prohibited.

(2) Leaving the country

When you leave, please be sure to bring your passport, air ticket and personal travel supplies to the meeting place. Please remember to store important travel documents and bills such as passports, visas and air tickets together; Pay attention to the preservation of cash and cards. (3) Enter

1. Fill in the disembarkation card.

Before the plane arrives at its destination, the flight attendant on the plane will issue everyone an entry card for the country. Information on the entry card: generally, you need to fill in your personal information, the purpose of your visit, the name and address of the place you want to go, as well as the drugs you bring and the amount of cash you bring; Please fill in truthfully, seriously and carefully; If you carry more cash than the prescribed limit, you must go through the red channel and make a customs declaration when you enter the country.

2. Entry formalities

(1) Follow the "Arrival" sign unless you transfer at the same airport; "Arrival" will guide you to the immigration office;

(2) The Immigration Bureau has an electronic display screen to tell you which channel to take; Generally, there will be channels for non-nationals. Please line up for each member and show your passport. The head of the team (squad leader) lined up at the front of the team with an invitation letter to explain the situation of the team to the Customs and Immigration Bureau.

(3) All passengers must go through the entry formalities of their flights through designated channels;

(4) The immigration officer will check whether your documents are complete and whether you have a valid passport with a visa. After verification, the immigration officer will stamp your passport and indicate the date of entry;

(5) After you pass the immigration check, you can claim your luggage. According to the flight number on the electronic display, your luggage will be on the corresponding conveyor belt (these procedures are the same as domestic flights). If you find that your luggage is abnormal, please contact your airline office at the airport immediately.

(6) After receiving the luggage, the next step is to pass the customs inspection. Usually you will see two exits. If you carry more goods and cash than the limit, you must choose the red channel.

There is no additional customs fee in Singapore, but an import tax of 3% is levied on goods and services, which is based on taxable value (for example, the sum of production cost, insurance premium, freight and customs duty). Customs * adopts Brussels pricing principle to evaluate imported goods. Except for automobile fuel, the price of imported goods should be the normal price, that is, the sales price of goods traded by independent buyers and sellers in the open market when taxes are retained.

The tax amount generally includes FOB price, freight, insurance premium, marketing fee (the rate is always 1%) and commission, as well as various additional expenses incurred in the process of sales and delivery. Ad valorem tax rate is suitable for determining such a price. If there is a special relationship between the buyer and the seller, the customs will raise the invoice price to reach the price determined by the Brussels pricing principle. Special tariffs on alcohol, tobacco (including cigarettes), eggs and refrigerators are determined according to weight, volume and unit of measurement. If the tariff rate can be expressed by special tax or ad valorem tax (such as motor fuel), the higher of the two should be paid.

In terms of cargo documents, Singapore Customs requires importers to provide a full set of import documents, including: commercial invoices must be signed with the name of the importer's supervisor, and items such as the name of the goods, quantity, unit price, country of origin, invoice number, name of the ship transporting the goods should be clearly filled in.

The name of the carrier, shipper and means of transport, including the port of destination and the bill of lading number, should be filled in on the bill of lading. If it is by air, use the air waybill instead of the bill of lading, and the requirements are the same as those of the bill of lading. At the time of import declaration, a complete import declaration form should be submitted and stamp duty of S $2 should be paid.

New products should have samples. The import license is valid for two months. Singapore Customs has the right to deal with unqualified products without compensating the importer or owner of the products. In addition, the goods stored in the customs bonded warehouse can be stored for 48 hours free of charge, and then a month's fee will be charged.

Goods can be kept in bonded warehouse for 12 months. According to the application, the time limit can be extended 1 month at a time. If the goods are not paid within the time limit, the customs may auction the goods. The proceeds from the auction will be used to pay customs duties, storage fees and all expenses related to the storage of goods.
