How long is the Australian 489 visa?

Visa 489 is the type of visa after the merger of visa 475 and visa 487. After successful application, it is a temporary immigrant visa for 4 years (3 years in 475). After successful visa application, the applicant needs to live in a remote area of the sponsoring country for two years.
